On Tuesday, July 30th, Young Executives Committee of Italy-America Chamber of Commerce and Young Executives Committee of Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce&Industry had an opportunity to meet each other at BICE, one of the most famous and charming Italian restaurants in NY City. In such a beautiful venue like this, where great people from two great cultures had a chance to meet each other, network, and enjoy some tasty Italian foods and drinks, the evening was definitely a bless for both parties.
More than just a business meeting, this event gave all the guests a great chance to chat with friends, taste delicious Italian cuisine, which tasted like it was made fresh from Italy, and enjoy the evening with great people, exactly what they were hoping for! All the guests who had joined this fun event, Aperitivo Italiano, were given tickets to win a $200 value gift card from the restaurant. The guests also had a chance to purchase tickets for an exciting raffle of a brand new VESPA which will be drawing on September 15th.
Other than just these two committees, TACCI's supporters as well as other guests from other organizations from many different sectors were also at this fun event chatting and enjoying their evenings, seemed glad to join us and meet with people as well as tasting the best Italian foods in a welcoming atmosphere.
Thanks to the big crowd who gathered, not only limited to Italian and Turkish Cultures but from all backgrounds, the evening was definitely a great networking opportunity for all! Please to view more photos from the event.

On Monday, July 1st, patrons of all backgrounds and job titles gathered at the Rogue Space Chelsea and socialized over fantastic Turkish wines that were accompanied by great food such as stuffed cabbage, or Lahana Dolmasi, and "Turkish pizza" which is originally called Lahmacun. The atmosphere was wonderful and transported everyone to Turkey for the night even though it was located in a Chelsea space. Along with the food, drinks, and Turkish music playing in the background, there was also a display of lovely pictures photographed by New York based photographer, Richard Crawford, truly adding to the whole experience.
New Yorkers got a taste of the best that Turkey has to offer. Truly where Easts meets West, Turkish cuisine offers many delectable dishes that are simply delicious. With restaurants, cafes, and bistros scattered around the island of Manhattan and it's neighboring boroughs, there is a demand for the tastes of Turkey! And with the help of The Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) and our event sponsors, this demand is being met with its supply. We are thankful for Nar Gourmet, for serving samples of their olive oil and preserves as well as for the very well known Turkish restaurants from the area ; Turkuaz, Sip Sak, Gulluoglu and Taskin Bakery for serving the delicious food that we enjoyed. However, it was not only the delicious food that we enjoyed very much, but also samples of Sevilen Turkish Wines by Kalara Corp. and the ice tea served by another sponsor, T-Salon.
With great nights, come great experiences, and TACCI has done just this for everyone who arrived. In hopes of creating a larger market and awareness of Turkish cuisine in New York TACCI hopes that these events create a new craving for New Yorkers. So if you're feeling like you want to try something new for tonight and you're tired of eating out of cardboard box, find the nearest Turkish eatery, where you're sure to leave with a full stomach and no regrets!
